About Burke Ranch

Nestled in the Sierra foothills, Burke Ranch is a peaceful, family oriented, 67-member, private community where each property is on at least five acres. Our vibrant neighborhood embraces community, with holiday and neighborhood gatherings throughout the year. We are also a Firewise registered community and works diligently to maintain our common areas and raise awareness to protect us all from the threat of fire. Burke Ranch is located just outside the City of Plymouth, which hosts the Amador County Fair and is the gateway to the Shenandoah Valley Wine Country. The Plymouth downtown offers a small town feel with eateries, a brewery, wine tasting, summertime Farmer’s Market, and to include a Fourth of July parade celebration with community fireworks.

HOA

The HOA is a non-profit California Mutual Benefit Common Interest Development Corporation managed by volunteer community members voted into office by the association membership by secret ballot. If a board position becomes vacant during a board member's term, the board can appoint an association member for the remainder of that term.

The appointed Board of Directors perform a variety of functions on behalf of the HOA, such as collection of Annual Assessments, creating the annual budget, and contracting for goods and services for the ranch.
